Description: Salsa Romesco is a typical Catalan sauce. Made with almonds, olive oil, tomato and garlic, it is ideal to serve with meat, vegetables and fish. We suggest using the Romesco Sauce to prepare a fish casserole, adding the white wine, stock, the Romesco Sauce and the fish. Easy and fast.

Characteristics: The Ferrer romesco sauce is the solution we offer you to enjoy a quality product when you can’t, or don’t want to, make romesco sauce. It is made with almonds, olive oil, tomato and garlic, following the traditional romesco sauce recipe and in an artisanal way, which guarantees its delicious taste.

What is the romesco sauce used for?: The romesco sauce is one of the most typical sauces in Catalonia. Traditionally, and many people continue to do so, calçots were served with romesco sauce. However, at Ferrer we wanted to differentiate between calçots sauce and romesco and perfected our Calçots Sauce to be the perfect companion for calçots. Small nuances in the recipe have turned it into the authentic calçot sauce, essential in all calçotada. Salsa Romesco Ferrer has become a delicious option to accompany meat, vegetables and fish.

Ingredients: Tomato, sunflower oil, olive oil, water, almonds, vinegar, garlic, sugar, red pepper, black pepper and salt.
