Characteristics: Minor Case Straight Rye Whiskey is a tribute to the craft distilling and history of the Beam family, one of the most iconic in the world of whiskey. Created by Limestone Branch Distillery, this whiskey seeks to revive the vision of MC Beam, a master distiller whose career was interrupted by prohibition in the United States. “I always felt that it was an incomplete chapter in our book,” says Steve Beam, a descendant of the family and current head of the distillery.

Made with a traditional recipe of pure rye, this whiskey is distinguished by its aging for at least two years in sherry casks. This process gives it a unique complexity, fusing the spicy character of the rye with the softness and sweetness provided by the sherry-infused wood. In addition, its production follows a meticulous artisanal process that combines knowledge passed down through generations with modern distillation techniques. The selected ingredients include rye, corn, malt and pure water, resulting in a whiskey with a balanced flavor profile, where notes of caramel, nuts and spices blend in perfect harmony.
