Characteristics: Cuvée Koffi is an exceptional creation from Waterford, fusing 24 distillates from the Single Farm Origins series, each from a different estate in Ireland. This whisky has been matured for six years in a mix of French and American oak casks, giving it a unique complexity. With a focus on the terroir and the individual character of each estate, this whisky reflects Waterford’s dedication to creating a deep and complex experience.

The work of artist Nathanaël Koffi adorns the bottle label, making this edition a unique piece both visually and gustatively. The blending process is meticulous, with head distiller Ned combining the different varieties of malts and maturations to obtain a perfect harmony. The whisky is presented as an example of richness and depth, with flavours that evolve on the palate thanks to the influence of different casks.

Tasting Notes:

• View: Bright golden colour with intense reflections.
• Nose: It starts with intense notes of white pepper, lemon zest and lapsang tea leaves, followed by a herbal touch, cola cubes and a light sorbet powder that adds freshness and complexity.
• Mouth: The creamy texture offers complex flavors such as roasted apple, caramel, cinnamon, anise and milk chocolate, accompanied by an earthy minerality that provides an additional layer of depth. There are also hints of rye bread that enrich the palate profile.
