7204 – JAPANESE AKASHI MEISEI BLENDED WHISKY 40º – 50 Cl.
Characteristics: Akashi Meisei is a special edition of Japanese blended whisky, produced by the historic Eigashima Distillery, one of the oldest sake producers in Japan. Its name, which means “celebrity”, symbolizes its refined and distinctive character, and stands out for its aromatic richness and depth of flavour. This whisky is made with a balanced combination of malt and grain whisky, with 45% of its blend aged in American oak barrels, which gives it warm and spicy notes.
Unlike other Japanese whiskies, Akashi Meisei is produced under the supervision of a Toji, a master sake maker, which allows for the integration of unique artisanal techniques into the maturation process. This approach results in a sophisticated whisky, with complex nuances that evolve with each sip, ideal for those seeking a deep and balanced sensory experience. Its versatility makes it an excellent option to enjoy alone, with ice or as part of select cocktails, standing out in combinations with ingredients that enhance its spicy and vanilla profile.
