Description: The Rum Piet 10 Years Small Batch XO Premium Rum is an exceptional rum from the San Miguelito distillery, Panama, with a history as unique as its flavour. The legend of this rum explains that its name comes from a parrot named Ron Piet, who was the companion of a feared pirate known as The Horror of the Seas. After a shipwreck, the parrot was found clinging to a barrel of rum that bore the inscription “Rum 10 years Panama”, which gave it its legacy.

This rum is distilled in small batches to ensure quality and is aged for 10 years in oak bourbon barrels, which gives it a smooth and fruity aromatic profile. With an alcohol content of 40%, it is a molasses rum with a column distillation process. Its presentation is equally distinctive, coming in a hexagonal bottle that symbolizes the “six edges of happiness”.

• View: Deep amber colour with golden sparkles, reflecting its aging in oak barrels.
