Description: Komasa Gin Ichigo is a handcrafted gin made at the Hioki Distillery, located in one of the main strawberry producing regions of Kagoshima, Japan. This gin captures the essence of ripe red strawberries grown under the sun of southern Kyushu, combining them with a base distillate of Honkaku Shochu and a careful selection of botanicals, such as juniper berries, raspberries, blueberries, rosemary, ginger, basil and cilantro. Its balance of fruity sweetness and herbal notes creates a versatile drink, perfect for cocktails or to enjoy with sparkling water. Komasa Jyozo, the distillery behind this gin, maintains a sustainable approach, collaborating with local farmers to ensure high-quality ingredients.
