3015 – VERMOUTH IRIS RED DE MULLER OF D.O. TARRAGONA
Characteristics: Red Iris vermouth is an example of tradition in the production and consumption of Reus vermouth, particularly endowed with freshness and subtlety in the flavours it generates.
Elaboration: It is the result of the maceration of more than 150 Mediterranean botanicals and the application of the old formula of the house, more than 100 years old. In its sweet-herbaceous aroma and flavor, the maidenhair tree, rosemary, sage, anise, fennel and liquorice stand out. In the mouth its sweetness is enveloping, warm, and is balanced by acidity and a slightly bitter finish.
Aging: Made with the perfect combination of completely natural aromatic herbs, then aged in oak barrels, which gives it just the right touches of wood and toast. It rests for a minimum of 7 months in oak barrels at a controlled and constant temperature.
Varieties: Grenache, Merlot and Syrah.
Graduation: 16% by Alc.
Capacity: 1 Liter.
Tasting note:
- View: Dark brown with amber reflections.
- Nose: Mild sweet, herbaceous and jammy perfume.
- Palate: Sweet with notes of hazelnuts with a significant presence of absinthe and its herbaceous touch.
Pairing: A classic service, combining vermouth with lemon or orange peel. Aperitif, accompanied by preserves in vinegar.
Service: We recommend serving it between 3 and 4 ºC. Enjoy it cold.
