2703 – DE MULLER RESERVE PORPORES 2013 D.O. TARRAGONA
Porpores Red wine Reserve. The character granted by the aging time in American and French oak barrels finds its correct evolution with its storage in bottle.
Varieties: Exceptional blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Hare’s eye, from selected grapes from our Mas de Valls estate, a typical 14th century Catalan farmhouse located in the old part of Les Porpores, in the municipality of Reus.
Color: Beautiful purple with large shades and purple highlights.

Graduation: 15% Vol.
Tasting notes: Full and complex in aromas, which give us a wine of great temperament, balanced and round, with a bouquet of magnificent elegance and finesse. Warm and sensual aroma, of red berries, blackcurrants, and soft notes of green pepper, which appear fleetingly before the imminent and majestic roasted and spicy aroma, provided by its aging in the three oaks, – French, Hungarian and Romanian -, of cocoa, coffee and vanilla. Velvety wine, balanced and round, with an exquisite palate.
Excellent on the palate, where the fruity and oak taste intertwine harmoniously. Very long aftertaste, both in flavors and retro nasal aromas; a real pleasure for lovers of black reserves.
Service: It is recommended to serve it between 16 and 18 ºC temperature.
Pairing: Companion of the best meals; red meat stews, typical dishes such as baked milk piglet, cured cheese tables or assorted Iberian sausages.
