2710 – DE MULLER SOLIMAR RED WINE – D.O. TARRAGONA
Description: Our vineyards are grown on trellis and are pruned for medium-long pruning. Our grapes ripened at different times, and after carrying out the strictest ripening controls to be able to harvest the grapes at the optimum point, in mid-September. We carefully ferment and macerate these 2 excellent varieties separately at a controlled temperature around 28ºC for 14 days. It is aged in American and French oak barrels for 12 months, and then continues to improve in the bottle for at least another 6 months before being released to the market.
Varieties: 60% Cabernet Sauvignon and 40% Merlot

Tasting note:
- Colour: Beautiful maroon with crimson iridescence.
- Nose: On the nose, it exhibits a complex aroma where the three types are different: A primary varietal aroma, of green pepper linked by a secondary, lactic, and startled, no doubt, by its clearly smoky and spicy tertiary aromas from its aged in American and French oak barrels.
- Palate: In the mouth it is warm, silky, with perfectly structured tannic-acid sensations. There are clear indications of its passage through wood in its spicy and slightly smoky notes that combined with a light varietal touch, gives the wine freshness.
Service: It is recommended to serve it between 16 ºC and 18 ºC temperature.
Pairing: Suitable to accompany all kinds of meats, especially whites, sausages and dishes with all kinds of sauces.
