Characteristics: The DO Terra Alta was created in 2005. The production and processing area of the DO Terra Alta is located in the south of Catalonia, between the Ebre River and the border with Aragonese lands and includes the 12 municipalities of the region of Terra Alta
Varieties: Dark Grenache, Hare’s Eye and Mazuela
Aging: Once in the cellar, fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a temperature of 22-36º which lasts 18 days. At the end of the fermentation process, a maceration takes place that lasts 25 days.

Tasting Notes:
· View: Very intense almost opaque cherry colour.
· Nose: Initial notes of spices and very expressive wood. Little by little, as it opens, notes of ripe red and black fruit appear that make up a very pleasant background.
· Mouth: Very pleasant, fresh and fruity. Its mouth feel is tasty, with some notes of fruit that are complemented by some toasted notes of wood that give it an unctuousness. Correct acidity. Pleasant and discreet finish.
Pairing: Spiced red meats and cured cheeses.
Service: It is recommended to decant it and serve it at a temperature of 16 ºC.
