2527 – RED WINE REC DE BRAU – D.O. EMPORDÀ
Characteristics: New wines made with grapes from old vines: this is the bet of Cellers d’en Guilla, a new winery with limited productions located in the Delfià district, in the municipality of Rabós d’Empordà.
Production: Red wine made with selected grapes from old vines, hand harvested and aged for 8 months in American oak.
Winery: Cellers d’en Guilla.
Description: The vineyards are located in the plain of Garriguella and in the municipality of Mollet de Peralada. They are old vines between 30 and 50 years old, which concentrate all the power of the grapes. They work with indigenous varieties of the Empordà such as black, red and white Grenaches, Samsó, Macabee and Muscat.
Varieties: 50% Black Grenache and 50% Carignan

Alcohol content: 15% Vol.
Bottle type and Capacity: 75 Cl Bordeaux.
Tasting notes:
· View: Violation with bluish reflections of medium layer.
· Nose: Aroma of black fruits, combined with notes of cocoa and toasted touches, we find a great balance between the aromas coming from the grapes and those coming from aging.
· Mouth: In the mouth we find a structured wine with very present tannins, with very lively acidity that makes this wine a fresh wine despite its complexity.
Pairing: Grilled meats and sausages.
Service: Optimal temperature between 16 and 18ºC.
