2500 – WHITE WINE ESPELT VAILET 2021 D.O. EMPORDÀ

 Characteristics: Vailet is a dry, young and fresh wine. One of the wines that remind us of white fruit and citrus and that help us get through the heat of a fan night and are Cuban.

Preparation: Static demudge for 48 hours. Fermentation at 16 ºC of both varieties separately. Aging on the own mothers in stainless steel tanks before bottling. Sterile filtration.

Varietals: White Grenache 50% and Macabee 50%

Denomination of Origin: Owned vineyards in the D.O. Emporda Frank clay soils on granite.

Vintage: 2021 Breeding young wine

Alcoholic Degree: 12.73% Vol.

Bottle type and Capacity: Bordeaux Stylus white 75 Cl.

Tasting notes:

· Colour: Pale yellow, with a greenish edge.

· Nose: Persistent aroma and stand out white fruit, pear and apple, essentially. Background floral touches. Acidity and salinity markings and citrus notes that assert themselves in the nose and mouth.

· Palate: Complex and delicate, Mediterranean character, with nuanced aromatic intensity. A delicious and friendly wine to drink by the glass.

Pairing: To accompany… Vailet is the wine we choose to chat with friends over servings of squid, clams and fresh fish. It is so generous that it will let the fish and shellfish be the star. It will enhance its taste and refresh our palate.

Service: We recommend serving it at around 8 – 9 ºC and keeping it cool in an icebox with water, ice and salt.
