2135 – RED WINE MASSALUCA – D.O. TERRA ALTA

Characteristics: Massaluca is another project of the Roqueta family in the D.O. Terra Alta A project started in 2019 in the municipality of La Pobla de Massaluca, a small town about four hundred meters above sea level in the north of Terra Alta, with the aim of producing wines that reflect the pure character of the Terra Alta

Description: The winery’s red wine is made with a blend mainly of Grenache and to a lesser extent Carignan, it presents a more vigorous style, marked by the forceful lightness of the black Grenache, a wine where the duality of freshness and volume go hand in hand and maintains the philosophy of its creators to offer wines that express the depth, identity and authenticity of the Terra Alta terroir.

Tasting Notes:

• View: The red wine Massaluca Negre is presented with a dark cherry colour and violet edges. Bright and clean, this red wine from Terra Alta forms a distinct tinted tear in the glass.
• Nose: Intense, tasty, excellent combination of black and ripe red fruit with hints of vanilla and pastry, balsamic notes.
• Mouth: Freshness in the mouth, spicy notes, with light tannins.Pairing: Semi-cured cheeses, grilled lamb, fricandó, risotto.

Service: It is recommended to serve it between 14 and 16 ºC.
