7113 – GUYANA RUM EL DORADO 12 YEARS OLD SPECIAL RESERVE 40º – 70 Cl.

Characteristics: The elegant and award-winning El Dorado 12 Year Old Rum typifies the smooth sweetness of Demenara rums. This rum is a blend of specially selected aged rums, the youngest of which is no less than 12 years old, being a combination of Enmore and Diamond Coffey stills and the double wooden Puerto Mourant still, blended to perfection and aged in old Bourbon oak barrels. In addition, it is the winner of an International Gold Medal, among many other awards.

El Dorado 12 Year Old is a premium rum from Guyana, made from sugar cane molasses, the distillation of which is carried out in nine different stills, including a column still built of wood in 1881, as well as in traditional copper pot stills. Blend of different rums that are statically aged in American oak barrels that contained bourbon, the age shown on the label corresponds to the youngest rum in this blend.

Tasting notes:

• View: Dark amber colour.
• Nose: Abundant aromas of tropical fruits and spices are perceived, with notes of honey and brown sugar.
• Mouth: This rum is round, with a smooth, full-bodied finish, full of rich flavours of fruits and spices. The finish is very pleasant, elegant and dry. Very well balanced.

El Dorado 12 years old is presented in an elegant 70cl bottle, low and wide, with a round base and long neck, in which its vintage label stands out, in ochre tones that surround the bottle.
