7355 – NEW ZEALAND WHISKY SCAPEGRACE MALT ANTHEM 46º – 70 Cl.

Characteristics: Scapegrace Anthem is a “New World” Single Malt whisky, made in Central Otago, New Zealand. It is characterized by using local barley smoked with Manuka wood, which gives it a sweet and distinctive smoky profile, far from traditional peat.

• Raw Material: 100% New Zealand malted barley smoked with Manuka.
• Maturation: Aged in 200 litter Virgin French Oak barrels.
• Filtration: Non-chill filtered.

Tasting Notes:

• View: Natural (no added colouring); presents a burnished copper tone.
• Nose: Fresh notes of eucalyptus, summer hay and ripe apples, with a subtle herbal nuance provided by the smoke of Manuka.
• Mouth: Rich structure with flavours of spiced nuts, caramelized apple and cider. Hints of dark chocolate, liquorice and white pepper are perceived.
• Finish: Medium to long, with soft tannins from French oak, notes of clove and a sweet retro taste of honey and citrus.
