Features: This whisky uses 100% Irish-grown barley. Waterford Ballymorgan uses barley grown by Robert Milne in one of Ireland’s premier malting barley terroirs: the famous Clonroche Series in Co. Wexford, with its clayey, slate- and granite-derived soils.Waterford Whisky has been influenced by the world’s best winemakers, working to the same methodology and rigor, with a clear goal: to make the world’s best malt whisky.

Our Single Farm Origins showcase barley flavours derived from individual Irish farms, terroir by terroir, each with a single malt in its own right.They are expressions of precision and rarity. Yet, brought together in a Cuvée, layer by layer, these spirits are unique components that create our most complex and definitive single malt. Our ultimate goal: the most exclusive, complex and profound whisky in the world.The Waterford distillery now boasts a technological marvel that we call the Facilitator, allowing us to create elite whisky.

We keep each farm’s harvest clearly separated, and treated in the same way, as we transform it from grain to spirit.The latest generation equipment combines with ancient knowledge, on local Irish barley, with prolonged fermentations of 120 hours, an unhurried distillation with an exceptional oak spectrum. In this way we can reveal the maximum expression of the terroir, farm by farm, harvest by harvest. Unique distillates, new starting points that give rise to fascinating expressions of Terroir, for their transformation in the barrels.

Tasting Notes:

• View: The bright gold colour stands out.
• Nose: Aromas of dried herbs, malted barley, red apples, plums, milk chocolate, vanilla, fennel seeds and cream.
• Mouth: It is characterized by its notes of apple pie, caramel toffee, milk chocolate, cloves, green apple, pepper and anise.
• Finish: The retro taste is pleasant and fatty with a persistent spicy touch.
