 Characteristics: Silkie Irish Whiskey Legendary Blue is a blended Irish whiskey produced by Sliabh Liag Distillers, inspired by the legends of the Silkie seals of the coast of Ireland. It is a balanced blend of malt whiskeys, smooth grain whiskey and a subtle note of peated malt that adds character without being overpowering. It is bottled unfiltered in cold and with natural colour, which maintains a rich and smooth texture in the mouth. The result is an easy-drinking whiskey, with a silky feel and an aromatic profile well balanced between fruity sweetness, fresh notes and a slight smoky touch. The Legendary Silkie is enjoyed both on its own and on the rocks or in classic cocktails.

Tasting Notes:

• View: Bright straw yellow with golden sparkles, clean and attractive.
• Nose: Fresh and malty aromas of green apple and pear, soft honey, citrus and a light touch of very subtle smoky smoke.
• Mouth: Smooth and silky entry with juicy apple and pear, notes of salted caramel and honey, a hint of ginger and warm spices.
• Finish: Light wood and a long, spicy finish with persistent sweetness.
