Characteristics: Ron CAB-RON Triple Oak Sherry Cask Finished, short for Caribbean And Barbados Ron, is a premium rum that honours the authenticity and skill of the master rum makers, staying true to the origins of this legendary drink with a rich palette of fresh spice aromas and surprising nuances.

This sensory journey begins in the waters of the Caribbean, exploring the countries of the Dominican Republic, Jamaica, Guatemala and Barbados, where this distillate originates. Its production process culminates in the Bodegas-Cathedrals of Jerez, where it ages in traditional oak barrels, acquiring its characteristic mahogany colour and reddish reflections, as well as its spicy aroma with subtle notes of liquorice.

CAB-RON is distinguished by its total absence of additives, and is a direct blend of old and extra old rums selected from each country of origin. In addition, the variety of woods used in its aging contributes to the complexity and depth of flavour.

CAB-RON’s packaging hides a treasure map that traces the route through the rum’s countries of origin, allowing for personalized interaction with the consumer. The design, inspired by piracy, evokes the adventurous and daring spirit of the drink, with a bottle that simulates a white skull made from recycled porcelain.

The alliance between craftsmanship and innovation is evident in every detail, from the bottle design created by artist José Piñero to the production process that combines tradition and innovation in the cathedral cellars of Jérez.

Each country of origin brings a unique character to CAB-RON: the elegance and defined body of the Dominican Republic, the soft aromatic finish of Jamaica, the sweet and versatile flavors of Guatemala, and the toasted and bourbon tones of Barbados, creating a suggestive blend with four distinctive nuances.

The aging takes place in 250-liter barrels vinified in ex-olorós vell sec, ex-bourbon and ex-Pedro Ximénez, combining three different types of wood to develop its complexity. The master roners meticulously supervise this process, deciding the maturation and pairing to maintain the quality of the product.
