Characteristics: Armagnac Marquis De Monod Millésime 1990 is a limited edition of this historic brandy produced in the Bas-Armagnac region, Gascony, France.

Its distillation process uses an Armagnac continuous still, patented in 1818 and perfected over the years. This drink is the result of the distillation of several grapes from a single harvest in 1990: Folle Blanche, Colombard, Bacco 22 A, Ugni Blanc and Juraçon.

The grapes are grown in siliceous-clayey soils poor in limestone, which gives the brandies from this area floral, fruity and spicy characteristics. Aging is carried out in oak barrels from the Monzelum forest, where the Armagnac remains between 15 and 40 years, and once bottled continues to mature for more than 30 years.

This Armagnac stands out for its long maturation process, which gives it exceptional complexity. The result is a 40% alcohol brandy, ideal for discerning palates looking for a refined and unique experience.

• Nose: Elegant and complex, with initial aromas of ripe fruits such as plums and dates, accompanied by touches of spices such as cloves and cinnamon, and a background of oak and vanilla that highlights its maturity.
• Mouth: An enveloping softness is perceived, with a harmonious mix of fruity and spicy flavours. The sweet touch of honey and dried fruits is combined with a soft aftertaste of oak and walnut, leaving a long and memorable finish that lingers in the mouth.
