Characteristics: The world’s first naturally black gin that changes colour.Naturally black, Scapegrace Black is made with botanical extracts including chokeberry, saffron, pineapple and sweet potato.When combined with tonic, the liquid changes from a deep black to a vibrant purple-pink hue, creating a striking and unexpected presentation.Full-bodied and refreshing on the palate, with a finish of candied sweet potato and pineapple. Its texture is luxurious and velvety, with a smoothness that lasts long after the last sip.

Distillation Process:

• Botanicals: China chokeberry, Indian saffron, Australian pineapple, New Zealand sweet potato (Kumera).
• Spirit Base: Neutral spirit made from wheat grains and water from the Southern Alps of New Zealand.

Tasting Notes:

• Colour: The nature of black.
• Nose: Intense floral aroma with a refreshing touch similar to menthol, naturally refreshing, with a balanced citrus freshness and a touch of spice.
• Taste: Resinous, with notes of juniper and dry earthy touches, a slight tropical sweetness that is perceived at the end of the breath.
• Finish: Finish with notes of candied sweet potato and pineapple; in the mouth, the sensation is luxurious and velvety, and is full of natural citrus oils.
