2568 – RED WINE BANCAL DEL BOSC – D.O. MONTSANT

The winery – Vinyes Domènech: Winery founded in 2002, by the Domenech-Nogueroles family. The aim is to preserve and improve the site’s natural heritage. In 2015 they received the “Qualified Estate Wine” award, recognition given to wineries for their unique and climatic characteristics of the vineyard.

Characteristics: Bancal del Bosc Red Wine is a young red wine aged in Montsant. Produced by Domenech’s Wineries, a winery that makes soft and elegant wines, with great aromatic complexity and tasty flavour. It is the youngster of the house, but it contains all the features. Organic viticulture and with grapes from vineyards located in the mountains of Llaberia and Montalt.

Varietals: Cabernet Sauvignon, Samsó, Grenache Tinta and Syrah

Aging: It has been aged for 6 months in American and French oak barrels.

Tasting Notes:

· View: At sight it has an intense garnet red colour with violet edges.

· Nose: The nose is intense with predominant notes of red fruits that reveal herbal, spicy and balsamic nuances.

· Mouth: In the mouth it is powerful and fleshy with fruity, spicy notes and a pleasant final freshness. It has a long and persistent finish.

Pairing: Sausages, aged cheeses, red meats, rice and white meats.

Service: It is recommended to serve it between 15 and 17 ºC.
