2130 – AUTUMN TEARS RED WINE PARENTING – D.O. TERRA ALTA

Characteristics: Autumn Tears is a red wine, in which Grenache black is mainly involved. The grapes come from a selection of vines over 30 years old, along with Mazuela, Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon. Each variety is grown on different farms with different soils and different microclimates. The harvest is manual. Separate vinification by varieties with long macerations of 20-25 days. Aging is done in new and semi-new French and American oak barrels. After clarification and gentle filtration, the wine rests in the bottle for a minimum of 7 months.

Varietals: 51% Red Garnache, 29% Mazuela, 16% Syrah and 4% Cabernet Sauvignon

Tasting notes:

• View: Very intense red colour.
• Nose: The aroma combines notes of red fruit typical of Grenache, aging and the environment.
• Mouth: Its passage through the mouth is wide, friendly and fresh and offers a long persistence.

Pairing: It is a very versatile red wine to accompany main dishes, mostly meat, especially if it is roasted or stewed. The freshness also offers possibilities for success with meat-based preparations, such as meatballs, mushroom stews or even cuttlefish.

Service: It is recommended to decant it and serve it at a temperature of 16 ºC.
