2503 – CLOS DE LES DÒMINES RED WINE RESERVE – D.O. EMPORDÀ

 

Characteristics: Clos de les Dòmines Reserve is a very powerful red wine. So much time in barrel shows all the surrounding wood. Just bring the glass closer and an explosion of aromas will invade you. Of course, the first drink has nothing to do with the last. And when the air flows in this wine it is quite a delight.

Elaboration: With grapes from vines over 60 years old, with resistant vines that have lived in poor soil. Its performance is low but very selective.

Varieties: Carignan, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon

Denomination of Origin: D.O. the Empordà

Aging: Red wine with very long maceration, fermented in cement tanks aged for 24 months in French oak barrels and a minimum of 12 months in the bottle.

Alcoholic Degree: 14.50% Vol.

Capacity: 75 Cl.

Tasting note:

· Colour: Very intense and dense cherry-violet.

· Nose: The nose stands out for its aromatic complexity with memories of toast and vanilla on a background of candied ripe fruit and very elegant undergrowth.

· Mouth: In the mouth it is a structured wine with very well integrated tannins and a very complete mouth feel.

Pairing: Red meats, stews, poultry and all kinds of cheeses.

Service: It is recommended to serve it between 17 and 18 ºC.
