2502 – RED WINE PANISSARS’S CASTLE 2017 D.O. EMPORDÀ
Characteristics: Panissars’s Castle aging wine is made with the red varieties of Carignan, Garnatxa and Merlot using the traditional system of Emporda winemakers. The classic long-term maceration to extract the maximum aromas and flavors is followed by an artisan aging in American oak barrels that enhances these aromas and achieves a perfect balance between the fruity character and the complexity of the wood.

Aging: For 12 months in French oak barrels and the rest in bottle.

Tasting note:
· Colour: Medium layer cherry red red wine
· Nose: The aroma of ripe fruit stands out on the nose with spicy and toasted touches coming from the contact with the wood.
· Mouth: It is smooth in the mouth, has a good structure and stands out for the softness of its tannins and its balance.
Pairing: ideal with red meat, white meat, duck, pasta with meat sauce and mushrooms
Service: It is recommended to serve it between 16 and 18 ºC.
