2238 – ROSÉ WINE GRAMONA MARTS – D.O. PENEDÈS

Characteristics: Mars comes with the strength of the red planet. It’s an explosion of aromas. Its palette of scents of grapefruit skin, peach, wild strawberries and Mediterranean herbs stand out in this fragrant rosé, which together with its pleasant and refreshing mouth feel make this wine a great partner for sharing good times.

Elaboration: Mart is a lively and very fresh wine, the result of sustainable work both in the vineyard and in the cellar. Made from the native variety of the area, Xarel·lo red, from organic viticulture and hand-harvested, followed by cold maceration for 48 hours to achieve a better aromatic extraction and that pale pink color that characterizes it . Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks to preserve the aromas.

In addition, we also use sustainable practices in the winery, such as reducing the weight of the packaging – which implies a reduction of the carbon footprint in its transport -, the use of renewable energies – such as solar energy -. All this helps us maintain a rich and varied ecosystem, so beneficial for the environment and therefore for the grapes we use to make our wines.
