1418 – CARBON CHAMPAGNE CARBON FIBER BUGATTI LIMITED EDITION CHIRON OF 75 CL.
Main Features:
- The Vintage (Millésime): The 2006 vintage was selected for this edition. It was a year of climatic contrasts in Champagne that resulted in grapes with great ripeness, power and an aromatic richness ideal for a long-lasting wine.
- The Blend: In this case, the combination is 100% Blanc de Blancs (made exclusively with Chardonnay). This seeks to convey the purity, elegance and millimetric precision that characterize the design of the Bugatti Chiron.
- The “Chiron” Bottle: The carbon fiber coating of this bottle is a work of technological art. It combines a dark blue finish and exposed carbon, exactly imitating the two-tone specification of the carbon fiber body used by the production Chiron.
Tasting Notes:
- View: Intense, clean golden colour with slightly amber reflections due to its evolution. The bubbles are very fine, very energetic and rise steadily creating a perfect crown.
- Nose: It is of great richness and complexity. At the beginning, notes of ripe white fruit (baked apple, pear) and candied citrus aromas stand out. It quickly evolves towards notes of fine pastries, fresh butter, hints of honey and a very elegant mineral and toasted background.
- Mouth: The entrance is powerful and direct, like the acceleration of the car itself. It has a very lively acidity that provides great freshness, but is perfectly balanced with a creamy, unctuous texture and a structured mouthfeel. The finish is incredibly long, persistent and leaves a mineral and salty nutty memory.
Recommended Pairing: This champagne has the elegant lightness of Chardonnay but the structure of a great aging wine, which makes it ideal for haute cuisine dishes:
- High-flying seafood: It is the perfect companion for grilled coastal crayfish, lobster with truffle butter or large oysters in their natural state, where the minerality of the wine will enhance the iodized flavour.
- Fatty fish: It harmonizes incredibly well with baked sea bass with potato texture or a wild salmon fillet with hollandaise sauce.· Premium Asian dishes: It combines wonderfully with sushi and tuna belly sashimi (Otoro), as the acidity cleans the fat of the fish in a sublime way.
- Cheeses: Artisanal cheeses with soft paste and washed rind, or a Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese with many months of curing.
Serving advice: To enjoy all its power and nuances, it is recommended to serve it in a spacious white wine glass (avoiding flute glasses that are too narrow) and at a temperature of around 10°C to 12°C.
