1248 – CAVA GRAN CLAUSTRO BRUT NATURE OF PERELADA
Description: When the President of the United States Dwight Eisenhower visited Spain in 1959, Perelada was commissioned to select a cava for the reception banquet, choosing a small reserve of its own. From the resounding success of this choice, the Gran Claustre emerged. A cava that is today an international reference.
Elaboration: Made from selected wines from the 2021 harvest protected by the Cava Designation of Origin. Only vintages classified as exceptional are made.
Aging: More than 30 months in bottle, before disgorging.
Cellar: Castell de Perelada
Varieties: Chardonnay (60%), Pinot Noir (40%).

Graduation: 12% Vol
Tasting notes:
- View: Pale straw yellow colour, with light greenish hues. Abundant continuous release of fine bubbles, with crown formation.
- Nose: Clean aromas of ripe fruit, with notes of aging.
- Mouth: Slightly fruity, dry and soft taste, with good balance. Broad and long in the mouth.
Pairing: Smoked or grilled fish and poultry. With traditional fish stews and soups. Dishes with viscous textures such as oysters or pig’s trotters.
Service: It is recommended to serve it between 6 and 8 ºC.
