1220 – CAVA MARTA BRUT NATURE ECOLOGICAL RESERVE

Characteristics: The indigenous varieties of our land, the Penedes, are the basis for the elaboration of Marta Reserve: Xarel·lo, Macabee and Parellada and an aging of more than 24 months in our cellars give it elegance, complexity and finesse.

Cultivation area of ​​100% certified organic vineyards:

· Region: D.O. Cava

· Subregion: Upper Penedes (Parellada) and central Penedes (Xarel·lo and Macabee).

· Climate: temperate Mediterranean.

· Soil: loamy, with good permeability and water retention capacity.

· Plantation altitude of the vines: 110m (Xarel·lo), 250m (Macabee) and 315m (Parellada).

· Rainfall: 465 l/m2 annual average.

Elaboration: Harvest: manual harvest, at the beginning of September the Macabee, in the middle of the same month the Xarel·lo and the Grenache and at the end the Parellada. Pressing of the grapes and fermentation of the must in a pneumatic press, selecting only the flower must. Fermentation of each variety separately at a controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks.

Varieties: Xarel·lo, Macabee and Parellada.

Aging period: More than 24 months. Reserve

Graduation: 12% by Alc.

Tasting Notes:

• View: Pale yellow, with a fine bubble and slow release.
• Nose: The nose is fresh, the aromas of ripe white fruit and citrus stand out, with light notes of red fruit and aging that give it complexity and elegance.
• Mouth: In the mouth it is balanced, tasty, with a creamy and long aftertaste. Carbon very well integrated.

Pairing: Recommended to accompany appetizers, rice, pasta, fish, oysters and seafood. Suitable to enjoy at any time.

Service: Serve at a temperature between 6 and 8 ºC, in a flute-type glass, tall, thin and undecorated.
