Features: Scapegrace Vanguard is a pioneering New Zealand single malt that captures the spirit of its Central Otago origins. Crafted from native barley and fresh glacier water, this single malt is matured in virgin French oak casks, uncoloured, unfiltered and bottled at 46% ABV.

Technical Data:

• Type: Single Malt Whisky.
• Raw Material: Local South Canterbury barley (Laureate variety) and Southern Alps glacier water.
• Maturation: Aged in 200 litre Virgin French Oak casks.
• Process: Natural colour and unfiltered.

Tasting Notes:

• View: Scapegrace Malt Vanguard New Zealand whisky has a dark golden yellow colour. This is a natural colour, as the distillery bottles this distillate without adding artificial coloring to preserve its purity.
• Nose: Scapegrace Vanguard offers attractive aromas of poached pear, vanilla custard, coconut cookies and a subtle manuka smoke.
• Mouth: Elegant and layered on the palate, combining fruity sweetness, honeyed cereals, soft spices and a touch of coastal saltiness.
• Finish: Culminates in a refined and well-balanced finish.
