Characteristics: El Dorado Single Still Enmore 2009 is an exceptional rum that demonstrates the art of distillation, made with the old EHP Coffey wooden still, built in 1880. This rum is matured for 12 years in oak barrels in the tropical conditions of Guyana, which gives it a complexity and depth. Its “Single Still” series reflects a pure and refined blend, highlighting the mastery behind each bottle. This rum is a true testament to the tradition and quality of the El Dorado distillery, with a flavour profile that includes notes of smoked hazelnuts, caramelized apples, grated coconut and milk chocolate.
Tasting notes:
- View: Intense, bright amber colour, with golden reflections.
- Nose: The caramel stands out, with hints of toasted coconut and caramelized apple. An enveloping softness that invites you to discover new layers.
- Mouth: It offers an initial flavour of cooked peach and coconut, followed by an elegance that unfolds notes of smoked hazelnuts and milk chocolate.
- Finish: The finish is long and smooth, with a persistent touch of smoked cedar.
