2818 – RED WINE MAS D’EN GIL COMA VELLA 2017 D.O.Q. PRIORAT
Characteristics: The wine and its name come from the plot of La Coma Vella, the oldest in the Vall de la Coma. Planted with Grenache hairy and Grenache from the country combined, it presents the east and west orientations typical of this valley that looks towards the Mediterranean. The place receives the beneficial influence of the garbinada, the soft and refreshing wind that comes from the sea.Mas d’en Gil is a small family winery, located in the south of the Priorat, where Peter Rovira and his daughters produce with passion and honesty wines of great character, marked by a terroir of slate soils where lavender and rosemary bushes grow among the vines.
Aging: It is aged for 14 months in barrel and then 24 months in bottle.
Varieties: Made mainly with grapes of the Grenache variety and a small percentage of Carignan and Syrah

· View: Coma Vella has a cherry red colour, of medium-high intensity.
· Nose: Rich in ripe black fruits, combined with notes of sweet spices and a fresh herbal finish.
· Mouth: It is an enveloping, fleshy wine with a very fresh and spicy finish.
Pairing: Grilled lamb, grilled Iberian pork, grilled tuna, with rice and risotto.
Service: Taste at a temperature of 16 ºC.
