Description

2816 – RED WINE MAS MARTINET BRU 2021 BIO D.O.Q. PRIORAT

Characteristics: Mas Martinet Bru is a red wine that is characterized by modernity and to represent the spirit of the current times. Its grapes are grown in the Priorat wine region, on an estate bordering the D.O. Montsant The sea breeze known as “garbinada” that blows in the area, refreshes summer afternoons and is integrated into this wine, giving it a distinctive Mediterranean flavour. Martinet Bru 2021 is an excellent introduction to the world of Mas Martinet and Priorat wines in general.

Preparation: The must is fermented partially separated from the grape skins in wooden vats. Gentle, short breeze washes are made throughout alcoholic fermentation for the extraction of softer, more elegant tannins, then aged for 17 months in 4000 litter French oak wooden vats.

Winery: Mas Martinet

Varieties: Grenache, Syrah, Carinyena, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon

Vintage: 2021

Graduation: 14% Vol.Capacity: 75 Cl.

Tasting Notes:

· View: Intense cherry colour, clean and bright.

· Nose: Its intense cherry colour precedes a nose loaded with aromas of forest and licorice, cherries in liquor and spices. Intense mineral notes, blue flowers and blackberries complete an enchanting aroma.

· Palate: In the mouth it is intense and tasty but its sweet tannins and a very well measured acidity make the whole a wine that flows in harmony and gifts our senses with freshness and elegance; discreet toasted memories of the wood emerge in the distance.

Pairings: Recommended with aged cheeses, cured meats and Iberian ham, red meats and poultry.

Service: To fully enjoy this wine, the temperature must be between 13 and 15ºC.
