2562 – RED WINE MAS COLLET – D.O. MONTSANT
Characteristics: Mas Collet Barrica is a red wine coupage of Gramache, Samsó, Rabbit Eye and Cabernet Sauvignon from vineyards with clay and granite soils located on terraces. It is an elegant wine with character where we perceive complex aromas of red fruits and well-integrated toasted aromas from the barrel.
Preparation: Fermentation at controlled temperature (26-29ºC). Maceration between 8-16 days, the varieties are vinified separately. Start of malolactic fermentation in tank and finish in barrel.
Varietals: Mas Collet Barrica is a red wine coupage of Granache (35%), Samsó (25%), Rabbit Eye (15%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (25%) from vineyards with clay and granite soils located on terraces, at an altitude of between 150-450 meters.

Ageing: Aged for 9 months in American and French barrels from 1 to 5 years with medium and light roast. Subsequent aging in tank for 6 months before bottling.

Tasting Notes:
· View: Intense cherry colour with violet reflections.
· Nose: Complex aromas of red fruits, soft toasted aromas from the barrel well integrated.
· Mouth: Good acidity and long finish in the mouth.
Pairing: Ideal to accompany lamb, rabbit stews, pizza and pasta, moussaka, cheeses or stuffed aubergines.
Service: It is recommended to serve it between 16 and 18 ºC.
