2224 – WHITE WINE HONEYMOON 2022 PARÉS BALTÀ D.O. PENEDÈS

 Characteristics: Honeymoon honors its origins, the honeymoon of Joan Cusiné and his wife Maria Àngels Carol, second generation of the winery. Since then, this young and fruity organic wine seduces the first sip with its intensity, aromas and freshness.Currently, the oenologists of Parés Baltà, Maria Elena and Marta, are in charge of maintaining and accentuating the aromas of this mono varietal parellada wine that grows on the Torres estate, at more than 750 meters above sea level. A very cool microclimate that manages to maintain the intense aroma of this grape until the end of the maturation process.

Elaboration: Manual harvest. The grapes are received in the cellar and after being pressed by gravity, fermentation takes place at 16ºC in stainless steel vats for 3 weeks. We stop at the end of fermentation to preserve a minimum level of residual sugar.

Graduation: 11.5% Vol.

Tasting note:

· View: Straw yellow colour with bright golden reflections.

· Nose: Good aromatic intensity, with delicate floral notes (orange blossom) combined with very ripe white fruits (pear, apricot).

· Mouth: Elegant entry with an acidity balanced by the residual sugars of the wine, which gives way to a soft and pleasant mouth.

Pairing: This organic white wine pairs perfectly with sushi and Asian dishes. Blue cheeses and foie. Also ideal for drinking.

Service: It is recommended to serve it between 7 and 10 ºC temperature.
