2222 – RED WINE CLOS D’ESTIMA D.O. PENEDÈS
Characteristics: Clos d’Estima is a personal project of winemaker Joan Soler in the Penedès. His knowledge of the different areas and adaptation of the different varieties to each of them, allows him to find the conditions to produce a wine with clear high-end reflections: for complexity and concentration melted into a perception of elegance.
Elaboration: The Syrah from the high areas of the Penedès, Guardiola de Font-Rubí, offering a good sense of volume and spaciousness, generous in varietal aromas (violet and black olive). The Ull de Llebre of the warmest and clearest sandy soils of the Bisbal del Penedès. A more austere and stiff wine, which is placed at the core of the blend, backbone of the Syrah, offering a harmonious set of voluptuousness and tension.
