2205 – RED WINE MONTAGUDELL

Description: You are a lover of robust, fleshy and exceptionally rich in flavour and history red wines. This wine from the Montagudell vineyards, located high in the Prades Mountains, is considered a true rarity in our country as it is made with an unusually unique variety in Spain: Carmenère. This variety is originally from Bordeaux, and was believed to be extinct in Europe due to the Phylloxera plague in France in the mid-19th century. The licorella soils of the Serra de Prades give it a particular mineral richness and exceptional depth.

Elaboration: Old vineyards recovered at the Montagudell Estate, Prades Mountains, at 750 metres above sea level. Llicorella slate soils.

Aging: 3 months in French oak barrels.

Varieties: Carmenère and Merlot

Graduation: 13% by Alc.

Denomination of Origin: D.O Catalonia. Organic

Bottle type and capacity: 75 Cl smoked Bordeaux

Tasting Notes:
