2205 – RED WINE MONTAGUDELL
Description: You are a lover of robust, fleshy and exceptionally rich in flavour and history red wines.This wine from the Montagudell vineyards, located high in the Prades Mountains, is considered a true rarity in our country as it is made with an unusually unique variety in Spain: Carmenère. This variety is originally from Bordeaux, and was believed to be extinct in Europe due to the Phylloxera plague in France in the mid-19th century.The licorella soils of the Serra de Prades give it a particular mineral richness and exceptional depth.
Elaboration: Old vineyards recovered at the Montagudell Estate, Prades Mountains, at 750 metres above sea level. Llicorella slate soils.
Aging: 3 months in French oak barrels.

Tasting Notes:
- Colour: Intense and captivating cherry colour with a persistent tear.
- Nose: Complex aromas of ripe fruit, blackberries and figs with a balsamic background of mint. Wrapped with tertiary notes of spices and tobacco.
- Mouth: In the mouth, it stands out for its gentleness and velvety tannins. Persistent finish.
Pairing: Perfect to accompany grilled meats, soft cheeses, cold cuts and Mediterranean dishes.
Service: It is recommended to serve it between 14 and 16 ºC.
