2202 – WHITE WINE COMABELLA

Description: Wine from the Comabella estate 100%, located in El Vilosell, in Les Garrigues (Lleida), at 700 meters above sea level, in the Prades Mountains. Clay-loam soils.

Production: Controlled fermentation at a constant temperature in stainless steel tanks, using selected organic yeasts. Once the alcoholic fermentation is complete, work is carried out on fine lees with periodic stirring for four months, providing volume and complexity to the wine.

Aging: 4 months on fine lees.

Varieties: 100% White Grenache

Graduation: 11% by Alc.

Denomination of Origin: D.O. Catalonia. Organic

Type of bottle and capacity: Transparent Bordeaux 75 Cl.

Tasting Notes:

  • Colour: Pale yellow, bright and clean, with good intensity and a fine and agile tear.
  • Nose: Fresh and intense aromas, with citrus fruits such as lime and grapefruit as the main focus, accompanied by white fruit such as pear and an elegant floral background of almond blossom. A subtle herbaceous touch brings freshness and personality.
  • Mouth: Fresh and balanced entry, with a round acidity and good structure in the mouth, the result of the work on the lees. Medium-long finish, with memories of white fruit, citrus fruits and a light mineral touch.

Pairing: Ideal with seafood, white fish, fresh salads, sushi or soft cheeses. Perfect as an aperitif or to enjoy in the mid-afternoon.

Service: Consume cold (between 4 and 6ºC). If necessary, cool for a couple of hours in an ice cube tray with salt water and ice. Avoid sudden cooling in the freezer. It can be stored vertically.
