1285 – CORPINNAT GRAMONA III LUSTROS BRUT NATURE GRAN RESERVE
Characteristics: III Lustros is a complex sparkling wine, a pure reflection of its terroir, the Font de Jui area, which extends between the Anoia river and the Mas Escorpí hill. We take care of the Xarel·lo and Macabee vineyards with the most respectful viticulture, we follow the precepts of biodynamics, we till with horses and we harvest by hand.
Aging: This sparkling wine, first produced in 1951, rests in our cellars for more than 80 months, with a natural cork stopper. The disgorging and all the steps of the production are carried out in an artisanal and completely manual way, even the final wrapping with cellophane of vegetable origin and completely compostable.
Cellars: Gramona de la DO Corpinnat
Varieties: 64% Xarel·lo and 36% Macabee
Graduation: 12% Vol
Elaboration: The elaboration of III Lustros is 100% artisanal. During the resting time in the silence of the cellar, we use a natural cork stopper, which favours the longest aging. We use desks, and the stirring and disgorging are done by hand. Even the wrapping with vegetable-based and 100% compostable cellophane is done manually. It is a brut nature, the purest and most demanding expression of sparkling wines, with all the character of the estate from which it comes.
Tasting notes:
- Colour: Its straw colour with golden glints gives way to a forceful entry on the palate with fine bubbles that leave a velvety texture. This defines it as an elegant wine for any special toast.
- Nose: The aromas are reminiscent of white fruit and chamomile flowers. The aging notes are very evident and show brioche, breadcrumbs and dried apricots.
- Mouth: It is a fully gastronomic wine, structured, with a vibrant freshness and a roundness full of character.
Pairing: Ideal with Iberian ham, foie-gras, terrines, cold meats, seafood and fish. Also with white meats, rice dishes, even some spoon dishes, as well as with paellas, marmitacos, risottos.
Service: The recommended service temperature for this cava is between 8°C and 10°C.
