Characteristics: 1908 was a legendary year for the family: it was the year in which the new modernist-style cellar was built. This cava is Oriol Rossell’s great classic, made with the estate’s two most traditional varieties. The xarel·lo comes from the vineyard called la Plana Blanca, with franco-silty limestone soil, and the macabee comes from the oldest vineyard in Cal Cassanyes, la Sínia, planted in 1959 and with franco-sandy limestone soil.

Production: Manual harvesting with a 500 kg wagon. Grapes chosen in selection table. After fermentation, the wines age with the lees for four months. Clarified with desk.

Aging: A minimum of 36 months.

Winery: Caves Oriol Rossell

Varieties: Xarel·lo and macabee

Designation of origin: D.O. Cava

Bottle type and capacity: standard 75 Cl.

Graduation: 12% Vol

Tasting notes:

· View: It has a straw yellow colour with golden reflections, clean and bright, with a fine, persistent and slow-release bubble.

· Nose: The aromas are elegant and complex, with an abundance of pleasant and powerful aging notes, where very ripe white fruits also stand out.

· Mouth: In the mouth all these fragrances mix, balance and give a feeling of fullness and very high complexity, helped by an extremely fine and well-integrated bubble. The finish is long and the scents of toast and nuts stand out.

Pairing: Brut Nature Grand Reserve cava paired with aperitifs.

Service: It is recommended to serve it between 6 and 8 ºC.
