1221 – CAVA MARTA ROSÉ PASSION ECOLOGICAL BRUT RESERVE
Characteristics: The native varieties of our land, the Penedes, from 100% certified organic vineyards are the basis for the production of our successful cava Marta Passion. Xarel·lo, Macabee, Parellada and an aging of more than 24 months in our cellars give it elegance, complexity, finesse and Grenache a delicate pink color. It is an organic cava and suitable for vegans.
Cultivation area of 100% certified organic vineyards:
· Region: D.O. dig
· Subregion: Upper Penedes (Parellada) and central Penedes (Xarel·lo, Macabee and Grenache).
· Climate: temperate Mediterranean.
· Soil: loamy, with good permeability and water retention capacity.
· Planting altitude of the vines: 110m (Xarel·lo), 250m (Macabee and Grenache) and 315m (Parellada).
· Rainfall: 465 l/m2 annual average.
Elaboration: Harvest: manual harvest, at the beginning of September the Macabee, in the middle of the same month the Xarel·lo and the Grenache and at the end the Parellada. Pressing of the grapes and fermentation of the must in a pneumatic press, selecting only the flower must. Fermentation of each variety separately at a controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks.

Aging period: More than 18 months. Reserve
Graduation: 12% by Alc.
Tasting Notes:
- View: Pale pink, with a fine bubble and slow release.
- Nose: The nose is fresh, the aromas of ripe white fruit and citrus stand out, with light notes of red fruit and aging that add complexity.
- Palate: In the mouth it is balanced, tasty, with a pleasant creamy and long aftertaste. Carbon very well integrated.
Pairing: Recommended to accompany appetizers, rice, pasta, fish, oysters and seafood. Suitable for enjoying at any time.
Service: Serve at a temperature of between 6 and 8 ºC, in a flute-type glass, tall, thin and undecorated.
