Characteristics: Aged in 200 litre American oak casks (ex-bourbon) for a minimum of five years, the whisky undergoes a secondary maturation in French oak casks where Tasmanian pinot noir has been aged. This secondary maturation adds beautiful red fruit notes and a unique Tasmanian influence to this small batch single malt.With vibrant, rich and full notes of toasted raisins, stewed fruit and candied orange with a hint of clove, our signature Double Cask is approachable in style and a whisky you will come back for again and again.

Tasting Notes:

• View: Although the official notes do not usually specify an exact colour name, its hue is generally described as a vibrant amber or deep gold with reddish undertones. These tones come from its double aging.
• Nose: Candied orange gives way to stewed raisins.
• Mouth: Cinnamon spices mingle with hints of cloves and cereals.
• Finish: Restrained to a smooth and relaxing finish.
