Characteristics: The Hine Domaine Bonneuil 2010 is a pure expression of the Bonneuil estate, located in the Premier Cru of the Cognac region. It is a single-plot cognac that perfectly reflects the character of the limestone terroir of the Grand Champagne. Launched in 2005, the Bonneuil series is only produced in exceptional vintages, capturing the essence of each harvest. Distilled exclusively from 2010 Ugni Blanc grapes, this cognac was bottled in 2020 in a limited edition of just 18 barrels, with 450 individually numbered bottles. With over 250 years of history and six generations of experience, the Hine house has perfected its art in the distillation and aging of high-quality cognacs. Its philosophy is based on maintaining the greatest possible fidelity to the wine of origin, highlighting the unique personality of the Grande Champagne lands. Ideal to enjoy cold as an aperitif or with bold pairings. It is recommended to accompany it with oysters, Pata Negra ham or sashimi. It also harmonizes perfectly with grilled foie gras, dark chocolate desserts or even with a quality cigar.
Tasting notes:
- View: Bright golden colour with amber reflections, showing its maturation in oak barrels.
- Nose: Complex and refined aromas, with notes of ripe fruits such as peach and plum, acacia honey and white flowers. Subtle touches of vanilla, toasted oak and fresh spices are perceived.
- Mouth: Silky and velvety texture, with flavours of candied fruit, fig and ripe pear. Spicy nuances of cinnamon and nutmeg develop, with a background of dark chocolate and toasted coffee.
