Description: Renais Gin is a premium gin co-founded by siblings Alex and Emma Watson, inspired by their family’s winemaking heritage in Chablis, France. Their father, Chris Watson, has been a winemaker for over 30 years, and his family vineyard has been the basis for developing this innovative gin. The Renais Gin project seeks to bring the concept of terroir to the world of spirits, using recycled grape skins from wine production, along with native botanicals such as lime blossom, acacia honey and Kimmeridgian limestone.
This sustainable approach minimizes waste and ensures a gin with its own identity. Renais Gin balances the minerality of Chablis wines with fresh notes of citrus, juniper and warm spices, making it versatile for cocktails or to enjoy on its own with a touch of lemon. Its production process has been recognized with awards such as the gold medal at the 2023 Gin Masters.
Tasting notes

- Nose: Fresh and floral aromas, with citrus notes, juniper and a subtle mineral touch. Sweet nuances of acacia honey and linden flowers are perceived.
- Mouth: Soft and balanced entry, with a marked minerality reminiscent of Chablis wines. Fresh citrus fruits, juniper and spices such as coriander and angelica root stand out, leaving a long and elegant finish.
