Description: With every sip of 44°N gin, you are transported to the beautiful Côte d’Azur in the south of France. This unique gin combines the breezy aromas of the sea with the best ingredients found in this idyllic Mediterranean landscape.

At the heart of the bouquet are the delicate flowers of lavender, mimosa, centifolia rose and immortelle, together with local juniper, marialluïsa and bitter orange. Sea fennel, also known as sapphire, adds a touch of the gentle sea breeze to the distillate.

To obtain these exceptional essences, ancient distillation techniques from perfume making, for which the region around Grasse is famous, are used. These techniques are combined with new and innovative technologies to create a new way of producing an exclusive liqueur.In several stages, only the best of each ingredient is extracted. After ultrasonic maceration, vacuum distillation and subsequent supercritical CO2 extraction are used.

This process ultimately creates the intense flavour and aroma profile of 44°N gin.The distillate is finally bottled at 44% alcohol in a unique dark blue glass bottle. It is sealed with a high-quality metal stopper with a plastic insert.When you take a sip, fresh notes of citrus and grapefruit emerge from the glass. These are followed by a fresh sea breeze of sea fennel and a very subtle note of juniper. Then, floral touches with a delicate body of various flowers dominate the bouquet.

Facets of bitter orange also emerge, offset by a touch of warm pepper.The various nuances seem endless and, remarkably, they do not all reach the nose at once. An incredibly fascinating distillate, reminiscent of a high-quality perfume.On the tongue and palate, an unprecedented combination of diverse aromas unfolds.

Delicate notes of juniper and an incredible bouquet of intricate flowers caress the taste buds. The spicy and warm nuances are reminiscent of the undergrowth where juniper grows on the slopes of the coastal region. The floral and citrus notes are skilfully combined with the subtle heat of Sichuan pepper.

The finish is also accompanied by the intriguing spicy note of pepper and, of course, flowers. The aftertaste is intense and the pleasant citrus freshness lingers on the palate along with the floral touches.

The highly seductive and captivating flavour of 44°N gin is best enjoyed on its own. In a Gin & Tonic, it shines with Mediterranean tonic water or premium Indian tonic water with plenty of ice. The intense aromas of gin do not require a garnish.
