2642 – RED WINE RECTORAL DE AMANDI – D.O. RIBEIRA SACRA

 

Characteristics: This winery is located in Amandi (Lugo) on a rustic 17th century building of 1,000m2 which, as a former parish house, gives rise to the name of the winery and the high quality wine produced, Rectoral d’Amandi, awarded in numerous occasions

Preparation: The harvested grapes, destemmed and crushed, create a paste mixed with must, grain pulp and skins that is placed in a stainless steel tank maintaining a constant temperature of 25ºC. After alcoholic and malolactic fermentation, with the aim of softening the wine until it is bottled, the wine is subjected to different transfers with the aim of removing turbidity, and is continuously examined and corrected in its levels of sulphurous for its proper conservation.

Tasting notes:

  • View: Picota, violet and covered, with brilliant intensity.
  • Aroma: a great youth that stands out in the aromas of currants, blackberries and the spicy touch (nutmeg).
  • Taste: in the mouth it is fleshy, gently tannic, with the point of acidity in just contrast to the sweet entry. the clean retro nose leaves a perfume of ripe fruit, spices and a pleasant vegetal point.

Pairing: A perfect wine to drink with meat, game, fish and the whole range of Galician cuisine.

Service: It is recommended to serve it between 14 and 16 ºC.
