Features: Chichibu Paris Limited Edition 2025 LE MARAIS is a Japanese single malt produced by Chichibu Distillery under the Ichiro’s Malt brand. It is part of the annual Paris Edition series, which explores the cultural link between Paris and Tokyo through different emblematic neighborhoods. The Le Marais label represents the historic Parisian district known for its mix of tradition, art and urban culture. This edition belongs to a collection of six labels inspired by neighborhoods in both cities, with a pop design influenced by the Japanese “kawaii” aesthetic. The global production is limited to 2,484 bottles, numbered according to each label within the collection. The whiskey comes from a complex assembly of 17 barrels: bourbon barrels, new French oak, Bordeaux red wine barrels, an American oak hogshead and a sherry cask, in addition to some barrels previously used for highly peated whiskey. The distillates used are approximately 5 to 14 years old, providing a balance between freshness and aromatic depth. It is a highly sought-after edition by Japanese whisky collectors due to its small production and the prestige of the distillery founded by Ichiro Akuto.

Tasting Notes:

• View: Bright golden amber colour, with good density and fine tears in the glass.
• Nose: Aromatic and complex; orchard fruit (apple and pear), vanilla, dried fruit and spicy touches with light nuances of wood and subtle peat.
• Mouth: Balanced and silky entry; sweet malt, honey, caramel, ripe fruit and soft spices appear. Long finish with notes of noble wood, dried fruit and light peat.
