7205 – JAPANESE AKASHI BLENDED SHERRY CASK FINISH WHISKY 40º – 50 Cl.
Characteristics: Akashi Blended Sherry Cask Finish is a Japanese whisky made at the Eigashima distillery, formerly known as White Oak. Its composition includes 70% grain whisky and 30% malt whisky distilled in Japan. The whiskies are aged for at least three years in American oak barrels and then matured for six months in sherry casks, which adds complexity to its profile.
This whisky stands out for its production process, influenced by traditional sake techniques, using smaller stills than conventional ones. Its production is limited, since the distillery only distills whisky for one month a year.Akashi Blended Sherry Cask presents a soft and balanced character, with sweet and spicy notes, influenced by its passage through sherry casks.
